Medieval Days is a long-standing tradition in Tallinn’s Old Town, where the Town Hall Square and its surroundings fill with characters in historical costumes, and there are medieval-style markets, workshops, tournaments, and spectacles. Over three days, there’s music, dance, acrobatics, and fire theater. The first evening kicks off Medieval Days with a grand parade!

The Raeapteek Museum offers free guided tours that introduce the pharmacy, which has been operating for over six centuries, and for families with children, there’s a special workshop at the pharmacy:

Friday, July 10th

Sunday, July 12th

At 3:00 PM “Unicorn Horn Powder” workshop

In the workshop, a magical medieval medicine will be made. Suitable for children aged 5-10, participation fee 7€. Payment at the pharmacy on site. Gathering at 2:50 PM at the pharmacy. Duration approx. 45 min. Workshop is held in Estonian, but totally possible to understand what to do and the guide speaks English!
